Nexus and Uniesse Team up for Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show .- 12/15/2009

The challenge: make a splash at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show -- without bringing any vessels to the event. The solution: Nexus.

Uniesse, the Italian luxury pleasurecraft manufacturer founded in 1990 by brothers Danielo and Giuseppe Scaburri, managed to make a success of its participation in the 2009 Ft. Lauderdale International Boat show without bringing a single yacht to the venue. They managed the trick by teaming up with Nexus for the production of a virtual showroon featuring a large interactive NeoTouch™ screen in a home theatre setting at the show.

"The match was ideal because both Nexus and Uniesse have a deep commitment to innovation and quality using advanced technology," said Nexus CEO Fernando Duprat. Visitors obtained information by tapping the NeoTouch™ screen and touch-scrolling through various image galleries. They were also able to type their own contact information onscreen to join the company's list and receive information in the future.

The elegant design of the interface fit perfectly with the Uniesse esthetic, creating a look and feel that communicated faithfully the identity of the brand.
